Here's the Covid Event Risk Model!
We have all kept a close track of it: the first guidelines for the event industry are here and we can – finally – get back to work. Be it mini-sized, we are wildly enthusiastic!
The general guidelines are sufficiently well known: indoor events can be attended by up to 200 persons, observing the safety measures. Outdoor events can be attended by 400 spectators. On August 1, this will be re-evaluated to 400 persons indoors and 800 outdoors, provided that the corona curves continue to fall.
From August onwards, the authorities can also grant permission for crowd numbers that exceed those limits, provided that the facilities allow for keeping the required distance. How will they be checking all of this? By means of 18 parameters, bundled in the Covid Event Risk Model (CERM).
The Covid Event Risk Model, what?
The CERM is an online tool to map the safety score of an event by means of regulations and parameters. A masterly example of professionalism and collaboration within the event industry!
If the event sees its scan approved, it receives the ‘cermified’ label, which means all participants can attend the event in all safety and that we, as a professional event agency, have taken all possible measures.
