“What challenges does the digital economy present us with and how do we prepare ourselves for the future?” Those were the issues the master’s students of the UGent were tackling during the 2nd edition of the Digital Economy Day, a successful initiative by the UGent and Samsung.

Fast Forward provided both an overall production, ready for the future, and irresistible stimuli: from registration to catering, entertainment, visuals and decoration. We meticulously outlined a pleasant flow for a smooth proceeding. On the programme: renowned speakers in the field, panel discussions and the hard-won Samsung Challenge, in which eight students each presented a pitch. Next, the winner was honoured in the award ceremony. The intense yet fascinating day was topped off with a reception where students got to wash down the freshly acquired insights with a drink.
