Sofico fully chose Ghent as its base of operations for its 35th anniversary European two-day event. The focus? That was entirely on virtual experience. How could it be otherwise for a software company!

For this occasion, the Ghent fish market was transformed into a state-of-the-art virtual experience hall. Through a dynamic LED tunnel, guests were immersed in Sofisco's virtual world, with LED totems as eye-catchers.

Guests not only enjoyed a programme packed with keynote speakers and valuable topics, acts and sleek animations. The central space with a view of the Ghent waterways was a wonderful place to relax and we immediately added a tourist intermezzo: a boat tour of the city.

In addition, the evening programme was the right mix of virtual and local. Attendees enjoyed an impressive laser show and a Ghent-style walking dinner. You could not get around the fact that Ghent was the common thread throughout the event, with the Ghent neuzekes as a delicious, concluding gift.
