Cast one glance at the pictures below and tell us, without lying, that you didn’t want to be there, we dare you! ION annually organizes a Summer Event to send its co-workers on holiday with a big smile.

This year, we gathered everyone in Kortrijk and kicked off the day with a breakfast at Bolwerk, a unique and artistic event location. After all the donuts had been eaten off the logo, the group got on a roundtrip to De Wijngaard, a retirement community complex built by ION. Back at Bolwerk, the staff were offered the Chain Reaction teambuilding (and lunch). Of course, it was quite a chain reaction, thanks to the drive and the enthusiasm of the ION people!

And if you get the impression that the staff are dancing in all the pictures, that is because they actually were. All day long, before the eye of the camera, the company sang along with the appropriate song ‘We Built This City’ by Starship, to later have a ‘lip dub’ made out of it. After a stop-over at Nuba-r, the party culminated at Dam 71. They built this city on rock and roll!
