A brand-new Veolia sorting line has recently been shining in the port of Ghent. The innovative sorting line full of technological gadgets takes waste processing to an unseen level in Belgium. Every year, it processes more than 60,000 tonnes of waste. Such a bold innovation calls for a festive inauguration, and it just so happens that we know a thing or two about it. Engaging speakers and themed catering and music alternated smoothly. The guests, including Jan Jambon and Mathias De Clercq, were given an exclusive demonstration of the impressive machine before it was officially opened.
