Algist Bruggeman has been a household name in baking yeast for over 65 years and employs 170 motivated souls. Because they deserve an extra now and again, Fast Forward put together a ‘Cirque Magique’ Family day at the end of September at the company site.

All Algist Bruggeman men, women and children were welcome. On the programme: three tailor-made circus shows in a big top, food trucks with ice cream and waffles, children's animation of Idee Fiks (circus workshops, blowing bubbles, a balancing track, etc.) and a juggling competition. A couple of weeks before the event every guest was sent a set of juggling balls to practise with. The person who kept them up in the air the longest at Cirque Magique won an Efteling-ticket (the children) or a bottle of champagne (slightly bigger children). The Family day ended with a barbecue which turned out to be Biggest in the Benelux – or at least the tastiest in any case.
